The Day – Porno Graffitti
If you follow The Arcade on Instagram then you might have seen a recent haul. Someone on the team has become somewhat enamoured with Boku no Hero Academia. To the point that he had to rush out and buy the 14 volumes of the manga series. That same person is utterly obsessed with the Japanese rock band, Porno Graffitti. The band play the opening song for the first season of the insanely popular anime series.
If you haven’t guessed by now… I’m that total otaku writer. My obsession is only growing and in honour of that; here’s your track of the day. Aptly titled ‘The Day’.
The video for ‘The Day’ is just as action packed as the anime series. It’s all kinds of epic and really fits the super hero series. Not to mention my crush on guitarist, Haruichi Shindō!
If you’re thinking to yourself these guys sound somewhat familiar you’d be right. Well if you were a fan of the 2003 series Fullmetal Alchemist then they will definitely sound familiar. Porno Graffitti performed the track ‘Melissa’ for the first season of the series.
