We already revealed the casting news of Mr. Freeze who will be played by Nathan Darrow in Gotham this December. Today Fox have revealed the casting for his wife to Zap2it.
The part of Nora Fries will be played by Kristen Hager, who will play Dr. Victor Fries’ terminally ill wife in the series. Hager is probably best known for her time on the hit Syfy show Being Human, where she played the character of Nora Sergeant. She has also featured on popular shows such as CSI: Miami and NCIS: Los Angeles.
On Hager‘s casting, Fox has revealed that, “thanks to her smarts, sincerity and a lighthearted sensibility, she’s the only person who’s managed to connect with the otherwise emotionally cold cryogenicist”.
As with Mr. Freeze, Fox have released a character description that sums up the character’s arc in the series:
“As her condition worsens and her husband becomes more desperate to save her life, Nora must make the ultimate choice: play the willing participant in Victor’s mad plan or sacrifice herself to stop the monster inside of him.”
