As most people know, gaming channels are big business on YouTube, and there’s so many of them out there that there’s something for everyone. However, despite the rise in geeky channels, it still takes quite a search to find female YouTubers that talk about anything other than fashion and makeup.

We’ve got you covered!

We’ve put a list together of 7 geeky YouTubers you should check out. There’s a mixed bag of general nerdiness, cosplay, science, gaming and comics below so take your pick!

Ellie Jayden

An Irish YouTuber, Ellie Jayden initially started making videos that covered popular YouTube topics such as makeup and hair care. However, in the past 2 years she’s branched out into more geeky topics and has filmed extensively about her love of cosplay (and Harley Quinn).

She still creates lifestyle videos and talks about non-geeky topics as well, but she’s a great YouTuber to check out if you want a bit of variety.

Rosanna Pansino

You may have seen this geeky YouTuber’s videos in passing, or you may already be a loyal subscriber (she has almost 7 million after all!), but Rosanna Pansino is a creator of all things yummy and geeky, with her series Nerdy Nummies causing spontaneous salivation worldwide.

She started off on YouTube as a regular geeky YouTuber before finding her calling and coming up with amazing geeky recipes. From her first creation, the Companion Cube Cake, to the latest Farm Heroes Cropsie Cookies, you’re sure to find something perfect for that viewing party/birthday/Saturday night in.

Stephanie Zelinski

Similar to Ellie Jayden in that she covers quite a few lifestyle topics, Stephanie has been uploading geek content since she started filming 3 years ago. Lately she’s made baking videos (like how to make Deadpool oreo pops… yum!), advice features on how to talk to nerdy girls and movie reactions.

The thing we’re most impressed by though? The girl has met Stan Lee FOUR TIMES.

Melonie Mac

A self-confessed anime lover, tech enthusiast and prolific gamer, Melonie is a likeable vlogger with over 300,000 subscribers. She started youtubing a whopping 7 years ago so she kind of deserves her subscriber count, particularly because her content is always fun and unique.

Lately she went to a Witcher Blood and Wine event in Italy and it looks amazing. We’re more than a little jealous!

Geek Gurl Diaries

And now for a different type of geek! With over 12,000 subscribers, Geek Gurl Diaries is a channel that covers all things geeky, science-y and awesome, from programming, to computer science to electronics.

The channel discusses, creates and demos all things geek and actually offers tutorials on how to code, how to make games and even how to make a robot! She also regularly interviews some big female players in the gaming and science world, so check her out if you’re interested!

Geek Remix

With over 100,000 subscribers, the girls behind Geek Remix Mari and Stacy are Let’s Play veterans. They’re really likeable personalities without all the guffaw-ing and loud screams that you get on other gaming channels, and they cover a wide variety of games, with lots of great Life is Strange footage.

They also create Easter Egg videos, podcasts, spoilercasts and offer movie commentary, so check them out if you’re looking for a new gaming channel to try out!

GeekandGamerGirl_xx

Finally, the woman behind GeekandGamerGirl_xx, Jessie James is a games enthusiast and on her channel she posts a lot of reviews, gaming news, game footage and lots more. If you’re into watching unboxing videos, she does those too (though you could check out The Arcade’s YouTube channel for that too! Shameless self-promotion for the win!)

  1. That’s quite a very weak list, there are more geeky female youtubers than whats shown here. I’m surprised What the Flick, Grace from beyond the trailer, Comicbook girl 19, Alicia Queen, Anime America, Nostalgia chick-(an excellent channel) are not shown.

  2. I would’ve added Pushinguproses to the list, she’s hands down my favourite youtuber

  3. I scrolled down the list expecting to see OnlyLeigh but didn’t. Dissapointing
