Red Bull Team Up With Freerunner Pasha Petkuns To Make Human Pinball

A new short film starring Latvian freerunner Pasha Petkuns, has been released by Red Bull. The film sees Pasha take on a massive 16m tall pinball table, which is tilted at a 45 degree angle. Dotted with blinking lights, moving flippers, bells and whistles, it leads to some mind-bending movement.

Acting as the ball, Pasha pulls off some crazy Parkour or freerunning stunts, as the steep angle adds even more complexity to his jumps, catches and acrobatics.

Close To The Action

Even though the amazing movement looks so fluid, Pasha had less than three weeks to get to grips with the table. He certainly makes it look easy, as he swings, slides and maneuvers across the giant board. Putting his body on the line, he even sustained a few injuries along the way. Thankfully he and the team were able to complete the shoot.

Behind The Scenes

While the build was a massive undertaking, it almost never happened. Because the structure was so tall and heavy, there were only a handful of studios that would house it. Eventually, with some redesigning, it was constructed in a London location. With dazzling scale and an immense amount of planning, here are some behind the scenes shots.
