Ok, we don’t hate kids! It’s not nice to make fun of kiddies on the internet and a lot of the trolls online these days, whether they’re screaming abuse down at you on Xbox Live or posting nasty comments to your YouTube videos, tend to be darling little baby trolls with their Justin Bieber stickers and their Miley Cyrus albums.
Kids are now everywhere online so we better get used to it because hurling abuse back at the pint size geeks makes us look bad… most of the time!
So in honour of our pint sized brethren (We’re well aware that some kids are taller than our Editor, no need to point it out) we bring you five kids that have caused a storm online…if you find yourself wanting to strangle any of these little darlings we ask that you step away from your computer and take a few deep breaths – trust us it works…
Fred
We can’t stand this little… bas…. Fred is everyone’s (excluding us) high pitched, ADHD riddled, stupid-face-pulling internet child star, whether he is harassing his mother, searching out for Halloween goodies or running away from imaginary people and a cat riddled with rabies. Fred has a line of tshirts, music, plushies and has even featured on a popular kids TV show about two more little preteen brats who have their own internet webshow, iCarly.
Ginger Kid
This video makes us laugh every time… ah, gingers… for the record, discrimination is wrong! Very wrong! Don’t hate! *giggles*
Jesse Slaughter
Jesse has caused huge controversy online and across the US with her videos. Imagine this…an 11 year old girl grabs a webcamera and a home computer with full internet acess…she makes a video where she threatens to ‘glock’ posers and make ‘slushies’ out of their brains and boasts about having three boyfriends (this sound like an episode of Maury Povich to anyone else?). Anyway Jesse then receives a torrent of abuse, death threats, trolls and is cyber bullied to the point she makes ANOTHER video and this time her Dad helps her! You know the old saying…the family that vlogs together…gets trolled together!

Of all the kids though he definitely seems the most…sane!
Keith Farren
Where would we be if we didn’t bring you one of Ireland’s own rising teen stars – Keith fancies himself as a singer and has covered everything from Leona Lewis to Cheryl Cole (great range of music variety there kiddo!). Every now and again Keith drags his sister Tara in to the videos to duet and the odd thing is Tara actually has a decent voice. Keith….maybe you should just do cameraman?
