Full Colour Fantasy And Frolics
Irish writer and artist, Anthea West has launched a brand new Kickstarter. West is seeking funding to convert the first three chapters of her webcomic series Fate into a graphic novel.
The series has been in publication online since 2015 with West writing, drawing and colouring the series. Fate tells the story of a little dustbunny named Bunny who finds himself caught up in an adventure out of his control.
A grumpy little so and so Bunny was content to be by himself with nothing but books for company. Against his better judgement he decides to help a fellow dustbunny out. Bunny winds up the prey of a terrifying bear and ultimately lost at sea. Here is rescued by merchants and about to be sold as a pet or food he finds an unlikely ally, a half-demon girl Dee.
I don’t want to spoil the whole thing but needless to say this all-ages series is one you should follow. You can check out the webseries here. West has a wonderful skill in world-building and then filling that space with really strong and likable characters.
