The Elder Scrolls Legends Delayed Until 2016

With Bethesda’s first step into the mobile space becoming a huge success this year with the launch of Fallout Shelter, their next mobile title, The Elder Scrolls Legends, seems to have very little discussion about it right now, or really any news at all.

It would seem that the TCG title will not be arriving under our trees any time soon, as The Elder Scrolls Legends will be releasing in 2016 after abandoning its 2015 release schedule, which was stated at this year’s Bethesda E3 conference.

This delay confirmation came from Pete Hines (Bethesda public relations and marketing vice president) when he responded to a fan on Twitter asking about the game’s future. When asked if the game would release this year, he stated, “I think it’s safe to say it’s not coming in the next 15 days.”

While this is not a shock by any degree, it is still worrying that The Elder Scrolls Legends is not only getting so little attention, but is slowly losing that Hearthstone TCG buzz that is very rapidly dying. Only time will tell if The Elder Scrolls Legends will be as successful as Fallout Shelter, or a commercial bust.
