Rock Band VR Coming to Oculus Rift In 2016

Recently at The Game Awards 2015 Harmonix took to the stage with Palmer Luckey, the founder of Oculus Rift, to announce that Rock Band would be getting a VR version next year. The game will simply be titled Rock Band VR and there’s no information beyond 2016 for the game. Oculus Rift itself still only has a loose release window of the first half of 2016.

In the announcement video for the game they enlisted the help of the band Dragonforce, mentioning how popular their song Through The Fire and Flames was in past rhythm games. The videos sees the band coach the devs and Palmer through what it means to be a real rockstar.
