The latest title in the long running JRPG series Dragon Quest diverges from the usual style of turn based dungeon crawling, but it seems to be bringing back a few familiar faces for the ride. A new trailer for Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below reveals some older characters in the series who’ll be in the game.
The trailer shows off a total of 13 heroes, with 8 making their way back from instalments V, VI and VIII, including fan favourites like Alena, Bianca and Yangus. Each character will include their own special abilities, and will be able to be part of a 4 man team.
The trailer not only shows us what returning characters we shall be playing as, but the types of mechanics we can expect (buying weapons, synthesizing) and the types of enemies and boss characters we shall see as well. With the huge success of Hyrule Warriors last year, Dragon Quest fans are sure to be excited for Dragon Quest Heroes.
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below releases October 13 for PS4.
