New Zygarde And Greninja Forms Coming To Pokémon X/Y/Z
The Pokémon Company have revealed four new Formes for Zygarde and one new Forme for Greninja all of which are set to appear in the upcoming season of the anime titled Pokémon X/Y/Z which will begin October 29.
Zygarde Cell:
This forme of Zygarde is said to be scattered throughout the region, and are unable to use any moves, will, or thought processes. Multiple cells are required to make up Zygarde.
Zygarde Core:
Unlike the Cells, the Cores are self-aware and can communicate with Cells and Cores via telepathy.
They make up the brain of Zygarde, and if there are changes to the region’s ecosystem, the Cores take action.
Zygarde 10%:
When Zygarde Core gathers 10% of the Cells. It is said to defeat enemies with its sharp fangs and incredible speed.
Zygarde 50%:
This is the forme which most players will be familiar with already, as it appeared already in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. This forme only has 50% of the Cells in its structure.
Zygarde Complete:
This is Zygarde’s perfect Forme, which is attained when the Core gathers 100% of the Cells. It’s said to be even more powerful that Xerneas and Yveltal!
Another big reveal comes in Greninja’s new appearance in the Pokémon anime.
“Ash’s Greninja takes on a mysterious new appearance in the latest season! Ash-Greninja is the form that Greninja takes when the bond between it and Ash is raised to the limit. The strength of their bond changes Greninja’s appearance, and it takes on the characteristic look of Ash’s attire. This phenomenon is also said to have happened just once several hundred years ago in the Kalos region, but it remains shrouded in mystery.”
