When I was trying to to think of what topic to pick for EwTube I was pretty stuck, nothing was coming to mind. So I did what I often do while stuck, procrastinated by watching music videos. One of the videos I watched gave me the idea to select three videos featuring chain reactions, or domino chains.
OK Go – ‘This Too Shall Pass’
I find these kinds of videos quite satisfying to watch, and the first one on the list is the one that gave me the idea. The music video for ‘This Too Shall Pass’ by OK Go, a band known for their cool music videos (I recommend checking out some of their other videos like ‘I Won’t Let You Down’).
Domino By Cora
I’m not sure what to make of the next video. Was it made as a low budget ad that would hopefully go viral, or was it just a bunch of bored employees in a closed shop. Either way this domino chain through a French supermarket is great.
Honda – The Cog
The final video I’ve got for this was a car ad I first saw years ago on TV. I managed to track it down and in the process found out that Honda claim nothing in the video was faked. It took 4 days of filming to get this machine to run through to the end and the result was this 2 minute ad that proved hugely successful for them.
