The Crow Reboot Still In The Works
At this point, The Crow may well in fact be the albatross of movies. From the tragedy of the first and now the financial collapse of Relativity Media, a collapse that sadly toppled quite a lot of movies already in pre-production, it just seems like it can’t catch a break at all.
However, like Eric Draven himself, it seems The Crow reboot might rise from its grave with James O’Barr setting the record straight.
“The company, Pressman Films, that owns The Crow film and TV rights, licensed it to a studio named Relativity. And Relativity made like a hundred bad movies and lost money so now they’re in financial trouble. So the producers are just going to take it to another studio if Relativity can’t get backing again”
Good news for some at least, though after the loss of Jack Huston there’s still some casting problems to work out. So, are you happy that The Crow looks to be going ahead? Would you prefer another studio handle the reboot?
