#5 Doctor Doom photos leaked

Recently there was controversy over a leaked photo of the Thing from Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot has been popping up – this was  quickly taken down due  to FOX and their cease and desist orders. Later the actual director tweeted the same photo, but this was taken down fairly quickly too. Now it appears that something else has been leaked – photos of Doctor Doom (Toby Kebbell) on a green-screen set, courtesy of Geek Pride‘s anonymous source.

Above is a shot of Doctor Doom and perhaps Johnny Storm flying towards him?
Geek Pride also reports that Johnny and Sue Storm will be adopted, which would explain why they would have different skin colour. So what do you guys think of Doctor Doom’s outfit and the upcoming film?

Rito-ahri-600x428
Since Season 1, fans have been craving and begging Riot for licensed figues. Well their prayers have been answered when the first real figure, Pulsefire Ezreal, was given out to fans at the 2013 World Finals.
With the huge rise in popularity, we’re beginning to see some merchandise that’ll have you throwing money at the screen in futile attempts. South Korean fans will be the first to enjoy the newly announced Ahri Nendoroid in collaboration with Good Smile Company.
New 2014 world finals track jackets will also be available and hopefully in a variety of sizes.
Any additional info can be found at the Interpark website.

#3 Star Wars Episode VII resumes production

A couple of months ago in a place not so far away, Harrison Ford had a little bit of an accident on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. Word from the production was that the Han Solo actor had “sustained a leg injury”, which was serious enough to force a pause in production while the damage healed up.
Well now it seems that production has started up again this week, according to an anonymous source. It’s also been revealed that the incident occurred on the Millenium Falcon!
We can only speculate about the nature of a scene that would break Solo’s leg in what is effectively his own (flying, space-faring) home. I’ll be looking forward to seeing the movie and trying to guess … many Bothans died to get us this information…
The good news, however, is that Ford’s tumble hasn’t affected the film’s release date which is out in UK cinemas on the 18th December 2015.

#2 Feast, Disney’s animated short gets new images

disneys-feastFollowing on from the success of Paperman, Disney has been coming up with some very fun and heartfelt animated shorts including. So with the release of the upcoming Big Hero 6 film, what short can we expect? Well wonder no more as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ has released new images for Feast, a story about a man’s love life through the eyes of a puppy.
The short will be directed by Patrick Osborne, who has been working with Walt Disney Animation Studios since Bolt in 2008 and is described as
“the story of one man’s love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.”

#1 New Character posters for Hunger Games

Moody new character profiles were released recently in anticipation of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1
Katniss Everdeen is now on a collision course with the tyrannical President Snow, and if the recent posters are anything to go by, then things are likely to get rather violent in the third and final chapter, Mockingjay.
And to remind us of the confrontation we can expect in a few months’ time, here’s a set of shiny new character posters.
Gale (Liam Hemsworth) is obviously the most recognisable of the lot, and there he is posing moodily with a crossbow. Other characters include Boggs (Mahershala Ali), Cressida (Natalie Dormer), Messalla (Evan Ross), Castor (Wes Chatham) and Pollux (Elden Henson).

Mockingjay – Part 1 is out on the 20th November 2014, while Part 2 is due for release on the 20th November 2015.
So that’s it for another week! Be sure to leave your comments and opinions below on any of the news we have had and maybe something we’ve missed!
