This week leading into The Guardians of The Galaxy release on August 1st, We have heard from multiple news sources of Chris Pratt’s stance on doing work for children’s charities. He has expressed a softer side of his rugged demeanor with his humble sentiment regarding his big screen superhero status. In a recent interview, He stated that he hopes the film will be a success particularly due to the launch pad that it could have for him to do charity work for make-a-wish among other organisations. If a simple appearance dressed as Starlord could help out a child stricken by illness, then he would have no problem brightening their day. This gesture of good will was backed up early this week when the star surprised kids at a special screening of Guardians of The Galaxy.
Could Chris Pratt be any cooler? Dreamier?
The Children Charity of New York and The Children of Promise organisations were reportedly thrilled to have the actor on board. Chris entered after the screening of the film to a large reception of 250 young marvel fans.

During the Q and A session held, Chris gave a speech on his past of living in a poor environment and afterwards he took selfies and gave high fives to every single kid at the showing. Additionally, To top it off, He stayed well beyond the schedule that his agent had set out for him.
It is a breath of fresh air to see more hollywood actors in recent years using their status and fame for exceptional causes such as this. As if you needed any other reason to see Guardians of The Galaxy this August 1st!
