Tumbling through … well Tumblr I found myself having to do a retake after I came across a reblog – ‘Pokéfusion Art’. Two Pokémon fused together isn’t something new, the internet has been doing it for a while, with fans piecing together pixel art and even more talented artists bring those first fusions to life with their own spin.
Now, Josie an artist from Germany has put her flair on the concept and has blown every other fusion out of the water! Trawling through her Tumblr and DeviantArt page she’s not only managed to collect a whole new following for her Pokémon artwork but her other pieces are keeping fans old and new hooked.
If I had to pick a favourite it would have to be ‘Gardevoir + Chandelure’ – what’s yours? Would you be open to the concept of Pokéfusion being introduced into the Pokémon universe?
