Forbidden Planet Dublin are hosting a a comic book workshop in the National Gallery on August 14th.
The event will feature panels and workshops by Stephen Mooney, Jim Fitzpatrick and Ruth Redmond. Stephen’s comic, Half Past Danger was picked up by Image Comics and I’m sure will give great insights on his experiences.
Ruth Redmond is a Marvel colourist and an amazing new addition to the comics industry. Jim Fitzpatrick is an Irish artist famous for Irish Celtic art. Perhaps his most famous piece is his iconic two-tone portrait of Che Guevara.
