Ever have one of those days where you wake up and 20th Century Fox have release dates for everything dropped in your lap before you have even finished your coffee? well today was one of those for us.
First up is Planet of the Apes sequel, with a US release date of May 23, 2014 very little is know bar the working title “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” and the return of Rupert Wyatt and Andy Serkis to reprise their roles of Director and all the Apes respectively. Speculation places this movie a few years after the last one, during the infancy of the Ape domination of Earth.
X-Men: First Class 2: The Second Class colon The Sequel with a release date of July 18, 2014. Matthew Vaughn and Bryan Singer are returning to Produce and direct. The sequel will focus more on Fassbender’s Magneto as he struggles to bring his goals of mutant liberation to fruition. The production has been pushed back to Janurary 2013 to allow for Jennifer Lawrence to finish shooting the sequel to Hunger Games, Catching Fire.
and finally a little thing called Robopocalpse hitting theatres on April 25, 2014, directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the novel by Daniel H. Wilson. Set in the near future society has become dependent on highly advanced robots, until one day a sentient AI named Archos is released, hijinks ensue.
