It’s not literally crap, the powers that be won’t let us show actual poop – well they would but we’re definitely too class to show poop on the internet (check back next week you never know how low we could sink). Anyway we’ve been looking for the some of the best art made from ordinary day to day materials and what better way to showcase the talent out there than by bringing it to you here via YouTube.
Sand Art – Emotions – sandfantasy2008
This is the work of Kseniya Simonova, a sand animator for Ukraine. After she lost her business in 2008, Kseniya took up sand art and after only a years experience decided to enter Ukraine’s Got Talent. Her first performance is above depicting the passing of time and the journey of life. She won the competition last year, earning her 1,000,000 Hyrvnia (125,000 US dollars) and the winning video has over 16 million hits on YouTube.
Her winning video below…
Metal Art – Tin Cans – pizzart
This is the 4th and final video in this series, so make sure you check back over the other three so you can catch up with this art. It seems pretty simple enough and ideal if you are cash strapped this Christmas and need to peddle homemade gifts to friends and family.
Of all the videos in this week’s guide, this is the one we want to try the most, only because we have an endless supply of cans and plenty of spare time on our hands.
String Art – Ink and String – expertvillage
This has to be the laziest form of art – a hell of a lot lazier than finger painting.
Step 1 – Dunk string in ink/paint
Step 2 – Place soaked string on card
Step 3 – Remove string from card
Step 4 – Hock art as priceless collectible to gullible idiot on eBay
Excuse us we’ve got some string paintings to buy!
Trash to Tools -milkcannyc
And last but not least if you would like to make yourself cheap art accessories and tools then look no further than this video!
