Wait, what am I doing this weekend? College has me so worn out, I can’t even remember what day it is! It can be pretty hard to balance college, assignments and binge-watching all the best shows – but we know which one is the priority right?
So for the past two weeks, I’ve been rewatching Star Trek: The Next Generation. This weekend, I’m moving on to season four. I used to watch TNG with my Dad many moons ago, and it almost feels like I’m watching a whole new show! Some episodes have me in tears, others have me in fits of laughter, as if I hadn’t seen them a ton of times already. But one thing I’ve never forgotten, and that is the glory that is Riker’s beard. That thing needs it’s own show!
I’m also just finishing up Jem and the Holograms on Netflix! I’m trying not to let Jem influence my designs for the fashion show that is part of my college work, but her and the Holograms are so stylish! How can I not let some of that seep in! If only I had Synergy to create my designs for me, amirite? I’m really enjoying hearing all the music from the show again, time to pop some of it on my iPod!
More TV?!
Apparently all I have going on this week is watching, watching, watching. I have a few trash TV shows to catch up with (I don’t watch Teen Mom I swear!!) and I also have some movies lined up for before bed. The sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has been sitting on my list for a long time. Another one on my list is Fear[s] of the Dark – an animated horror anthology from six graphic artists and cartoonists. It looks phenomenal, and I am so excited and terrified to watch it. I don’t know why I haven’t checked it out before!
With all this talk of show watching, I almost forgot that I’ll be going to see a play this weekend! A classmate of mine, also known as Saturday’s Child Cosplay, is going to be part of 16 for 1916 – a remembrance of The 1916 Rising through the eyes of Waterford writers. Gotta get some of that high class culture into my weekend at least, to make up for all the time I’ll be vegging out on the couch with Starfleet!
