Legion eSports Series Fortnite Grand Final Happening Sunday April 4th
We are drawing closer to the first ever Legion eSports Series event Grand Final. The GamerStore.ie, in association with Trust Gaming, ran a Fortnite tournament over the last number of weeks. Hosted by TheGaraShow, there were nearly 1000 registered entries, which were whittled down to the top 100 players.
With a prize pool of €1000 up for grabs, players from across Ireland, Northern Ireland, UK and even parts of Europe, battled it out in a number of qualifiers. While held virtually, this event has been resounding success, with over 40,000 views on the competition so far. There was a mammoth effort of organisation, streaming and hosting by TheGaraShow on his Twitch channel. Some top talent from the Irish scene have also been discovered and showcased.
Jamie Jay Car sat down with Chris from TheGaraShow, to discuss the event as a whole. When asked is there anything he wants to share before the Sunday event, Chris said:
It’s been an absolute pleasure to get to host this event and be the face of the first Legion eSports Series event. . . the Irish and UK talent that we have, have been absolutely exceptional and to showcase that and to be even commentating on that, it’s just an absolute privilege.
