Galway Film Centre is hosting their inaugural FÍS Games Summit on Thursday 25th February. It will be an online set of talks, which include some top names in the national and international gaming industry.
With a growing pool of talent, the industry in Ireland has been blossoming for many years. This has lead many to set up their own companies and even attracting other top professionals to come to Ireland.
There is a theme to the summit and it is one of ‘Journey’. From conception of an idea, finding funding to develop or publishing that first title, FÍS Games Summit will celebrate the journey, while inviting developers that have inspired many across the globe.

The event is hosted by Galway FIlm Centre in association with Screen Skills Ireland, and with the support of Romero Games, Creative Europe Media Desk Galway, Northern Ireland Screen, the WRAP Fund, and Imirt. The goal of the summit is to help foster growth and success in the Irish Games Development community by providing developers on the island of Ireland with a unique opportunity to engage with talks and presentations that will help them in their own careers.
