With some teases from the Crysis official Twitter, it was officially announced that the original Crysis is getting a remaster for PC, PS4, Xbox One and on a Nintendo system for the first time, via Switch. The critically acclaimed first person shooter was one of the pinnacle games, showcasing in graphical technology. It was known to need a fairly hefty and particular setup to play, with the running joke being

The game did get ported to the likes of PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011, but now Crysis will be be remastered and will run on current systems, Crytek will be updating the visuals to and even implement software based ray-tracing to make the still good looking title even better. Crysis Remastered is being co-developed by the team at Saber Interactive, who ported the excellent The Witcher III: Wild Hunt.
