The 91st Oscars winners have been announced. Although there were a few surprises, there was no doubt in who was going to win Best Original Song. The smash hit song ‘Shallow’ won, which comes from the film A Star Is Born. A rendition of the song was sung at the awards show by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Check it out below.
The song was written by Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando, Mark Ronson & Stefani Germanotta (Lady Gaga) who picked up the award. A Star Is Born was directed by Bradley Cooper and grossed over $425 million on a modest $40 million or so budget. The film is actually the third remake of 1937 film of the same name. It was in the running for several other Oscars including Best Actor, Best Actress & even Best Picture. Alas, only picking up Best Original Song.
