Hospital staff working in pediatrics have recently been using Pokémon GO as a sneaky way to get their patients out of bed and exercising. According to staff, the game has been putting smiles on the faces of sick kids and getting them to interact with other patients.
If you live near a hospital with a pokestop, I’d urge anyone reading to pop down a lure to help out patients inside. It may not be much, but giving a sick kid a few hours of happiness might be just enough.
