Jesse Eisenberg made the announcement at MCM London Comic Con that his version of Lex Luthor will be returning for next year’s Justice League, despite the character being left behind bars in the recent Batman VS Superman.
“I’m kind of in wait,” he said, “They just started filming Justice League, so I’m kind of like waiting for my crack at it.” The actor wouldn’t elaborate further, worried that he might say something that would get him in trouble with producers.
Prior to this announcement, Eisenberg showed his eagerness in the character returning and his desire to “have another opportunity to work with these wonderful people and play this interesting character,” according to ComicBookResources.
Justice League is to open in November 2017, with Zack Snyder returning to direct along with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as our caped heroes.
Doing a little of this, a little of that. If you see me holding a camera, run!
