Off the back of their latest album, American Beauty/American Psycho, former pop-punk legends and now just… pop legends Fall Out Boy have released the video for lead single ‘Irresistible’ off of their rap reworking of American Beauty, entitled Make America Psycho Again.

The video is an homage to NSYNC‘s video for ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’, which saw the band as toys that came to life. Fall Out Boy‘s twist on it asks what happens when the toys no one ever wanted came to life instead. Directed by the original NSYNC video’s director and featuring Demi Lovato who also sings on the track, it also includes special appearances from NSYNC members Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick.

The track sees the band exploring yet another musical style, broadening their sound even further than usual with their shift to pop music and proving themselves to be one of the most diverse acts in the current pop music scene.

Do you like Fall Out Boy‘s newer experimental sound or do you wish they had stuck with songs like ‘Sugar We’re Going Down’ instead?
