You’ve seen her fall in love (and just fall) with Spider-Man as Gwen Stacey! You’ve watched her singing ‘Pocket Full of Sunshine’ on repeat! You’ve watched her chased by zombies and assist Michael Keaton in Birdman. Now it is being reported that Emma Stone is in talks to play fiendish fashionista, Cruella de Vil.
Cruella is the main villain of Disney 101 Dalmations animated classic and has been brought to life in the live-action movie and sequel by Glenn Close. It’s being reported that Stone is in talks to play the character the upcoming Cruella movie which will act as an origin story for the character like Angelina Jolie‘s Maleficent.
While the project currently lacks a director, Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr. Banks) is said to be attached as writer with the hope the project will start production later this year.
