With season 10 well and truly in the rear-view mirror, the season 11 trailer has been released. It shows the Winchesters, Castiel and Crowley teaming up (Crowley has such a soft spot for them!) to take on the Darkness. This may give people some flashbacks of when the Leviathans were released.
The Darkness is something they haven’t come across before. It is seriously old and super powerful, hence the King of Hell helping out. The Darkness is supposed to represent the space that was there before God filled it with light. And from the sounds of this trailer, they’re going to need God’s help to fight it. Will we finally see God revealed in the show?
