Of all the announcements that came from EA’s E3 press conference this year, one stood out as the most endearing. EA revealed their latest IP, Unravel, a physics-based puzzle platformer from a small Swedish studio named Coldwood Interactive.
In Unravel you play as Yarny, a small red puppet made up of yarn, leaving a thread behind him as you explore the world around you. The game will feature environments based on Northern Scandinavia, which you will explore by using your thread to your advantage by jumping, swinging and dodging enemies.
The developers, Coldwodd Studios, said at the conference that the game will deal with themes of love and life connections, so expect all the feels!
Unravel is set to launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
