Bryan Singer Confirms Ben Hardy For Angel
We brought you the news over a month ago that EastEnders actor, Ben Hardy, had auditioned for Bryan Singer and the Days of Future Past, sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse. Straight off the bat fans, myself included, were speculating what role the young actor was going for, with most of guessing, based purely on his looks that it would be winged mutant, Angel.
Now Bryan Singer has confirmed with EMPIRE that Hardy will take on the role of Angel and has gone one step further and shared some concept art of the character that only adds more fuel to the fires of speculation:
Now you’ll notice straight away that Angel’s wings are metallic, this is not the divine white wingspan we’d know him as but rather the cold lifeless wings bestowed up Angel after Apocalypse gets his hands on him and transforms him into one of his four horsemen.
Speaking to EMPIRE, Singer has said that “…he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say…”
