EastEnders Actor For X-Men Apocalypse Role
From London’s East End to the grounds of the Xavier Institute, British actor, Ben Hardy best known for his role as Peter Beale in BBC’s EastEnders has been in talks for a key role in Bryan Singer’s X-Men Apocalypse.
Speculation surrounds the casting as Hardy was among the troop of actors who went forward for Singer’s young Cyclops/Scott Summers but was unsuccessful at that point. It seems the director has something different in mind for the actor, many are now guessing, based on his looks alone, that it’s the role of Angel/Warren Worthington III, a member of the First Class team from the Marvel comics.
If it’s true and Hardy lands the role then he’ll be joining actors Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm and Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler.
