Both the teaser and, more recently, full trailer have been released for the forthcoming animated film ‘Song of the Sea’.
The film’s director is Tomm Moore, who previously brought us The Secret of Kells (2009) and was written by William Collins. The movie features the voices of Brendan Gleeson, Fionnula Flanagan, David Rawle, Lisa Hannigan, Pat Shortt, Jon Kenny, Lucy O’Connell, Liam Hourican, and Kevin Swierszsz.
Like Moore’s previous work, Song of the Sea draws on a variety of Irish myths and folklore that surround Selkies, centering on siblings Ben and Saoirse.
