Sailor Moon Second Season Confirmed and Features Chibiusa
I can hear the fan girl /boy screams all over the world with the news that Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal would be continuing on into its second season. Having already been confirm by Toei animation that the anime would run for 26 episodes, the second season being the second half of said episodes.
The second season will continue with the original manga’s “Black Moon” arc which will feature the wee little Chibiusa. This character has split fans in the past but we will have to wait for the New Year to see how this character will be portrayed in the reboot.
The anime began airing in July of this year and has aired the first and third Saturday of every month – the anime will reach its halfway point by the end of this year leading nicely into the second season in the New Year.
