Earlier this year there was an image from the Hyrule Warriors art book of a seemingly female version of Link. Now, one could argue Link generally looks effeminate but this was different. The features and attire were different and very definitely female.
A mistranslation led us to believe this was artwork of Link’s potential daughter, but it’s been confirmed now that she was meant to be his sister. The artwork unfortunately appeared in the ‘unused ideas’ section of the book, which is a shame. What we can definitely take away from this is that the idea has definitely been planted and we may see it in the future.
