Sword Art Online Demoed for the Oculus Rift

At Anime Expo this week, the Sword Art Online game is to be demoed on the virtual reality headseat, the Oculus Rift.
For those who aren’t familiar, Sword Art Online is an anime set in a virtual video game world. Players are trapped in this world until they can defeat the final boss by crawling through endless dungeons and fighting enemies. Some players decided this wasn’t really for them, as if you die in the game, you die in real life. Certain players decided to settle in the virtual villages, setting up shop or making a home.
This is the perfect game to be played on the Oculus Rift. It’s going to be an extremely immersive experience, as players will really feel like they’re part of the Sword Art Online world.
