Four highly trained mutant heroes in a half shell seek to rid the city of a corrupt evil kingpin. They tackle the underbelly of the crime world with the aid of their sage like mentor, Splinter and a plucky reporter named April O’Neil (Megan Fox). Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and Produced by Michael Bay. It will also feature vocal talent from Johnny Knoxville. TMNT was a main focus for Paramount at their panel as it is likely their biggest potential draw due to the popularity of its predecessors and by virtue of it being a Michael Bay produced film. New footage was shown and we can expect to see a teaser making its way online in the next few days.

What to Expect….
The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies (Coming 2015)
Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) of The Shire and The Proud Dwarves of Erebor fended off Smaug The Stupendous (Benedict Cumberbatch) only for his tyranny to rain across the folk of lake town. The choice of hoarding his riches and forgetting about the innocent is a grand weight on the dwarven leader, Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage). A dangerous collision lies ahead in the future foreseen by the Wizard, Gandalf (Ian McKellen) that might cause a rupture in the ties of the different races of middle earth. The films of the Hobbit franchise are all directed by Peter Jackson. An extended trailer is to be shown at Comic Con that will surely titillate tolkienites.
Jupiter Ascending (Coming 2015)
In the far off future, The universe is under the reign of royal families scattered across the stars. The highest in this hierarchy being The Queen of The Universe. Unwitting hero Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) of planet earth finds herself embroiled in a war of families jockeying for the possession of earth. Her grand destiny is revealed by a man from the stars;Caine Wise (Channing Tatum) who tells her that she is of royal birth. Jupiter Ascending is described as an “epic space opera” by its directors The Wachowski Brothers. The cast includes Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne and Terry Gilliam in support roles. This one will be getting a lot of traction given that it is The Wachowski Brothers going back to their core roots of blending science fiction and action together. Their most recent directed film Cloud Atlas was an exploration of thought and a unique sidetrack to their typical productions. Jupiter Ascending puts them back in their comfort zone. A trailer is very likely to be shown as this will be released in the early half of 2015 and they will want to get the hype building at this point.
Mad Max: Fury Road (Coming 2015)
A grizzled soft spoken man named Max (Tom Hardy) seeks order in a chaotic dystopian world ravaged by depravity and savage lands filled with violence. Mad Max: Fury Road is directed by the original Mad Max director George Miller. Limited plot details have been released currently. This sequel/reboot will feature a prominent role from Charlize Theron and X-men Star, Nicholas Hoult. The lack of details surrounding this one leaves it ripe for a Comic Con moment to remember. Currently it’s being said to be a sequel to the originals rather than a flat out reboot which is an interesting direction to go and will be rewarding for past fans of the original films.
Into The Storm (Coming August 22nd)
High school students document the devastating power that a tornado can cause and the harsh realities that surround the wake of a disaster. This found footage flick is helmed by Steven Quale and will star Richard Armitage as one of its leads. A special advance screening has already been set in motion for avid fans of the disaster film genre attending SDCC.
What to Hope for..
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice  (Coming 2015): Warner Brothers have withheld announcing any media reveals on this Man of Steel sequel for Comic Con this year. Its difficult to say if this is meant as a marketing ploy to show a surprise trailer of some kind or if they are planning on waiting out to reveal anything. Either way; The anticipation is still building for this set up film to The Justice League.
Shazam(Coming 2016): The internet favorite answer to the question; Who will The Rock play in the DC universe? Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be at Comic Con and there is no better time than the present for him to don the Captain Marvel cape and get the train rolling on introducing new fans to a frankly underrated superhero. This is of course, If they aren’t trying to bluff us and reveal Dwayne as a different hero. (I’m hoping for Lobo)
Justice League (Coming 2017): This one is highly unlikely, but keenly desired among DC Fans. A brief flash of a title card akin to last years Avengers: Age of Ultron reveal would do wonders for this project.
Sandman (Coming 201X): Various years have been said for the release of this unexpected chosen title by Warner Brothers. Its safe to say that this is the definite curve ball of the bunch and the biggest long shot for any kind of announcements this years. The cult classic from Neil Gaiman garners much respect and is touted as a piece that will not work for screen. Perhaps Warner Brothers will take a risk this year and show us a few production images on this project that has been shrouded in mystery since announced.

Watch out for Part 2 featuring Marvels Line-up here on the arcade.ie in the next few days! Which announced film are you most looking forward to hearing about? Answer down in the comments!
