New Studio Ghibli Movie: The Wind Rises

Hayao Miyazaki is working on a new animation. The film is not aimed at younger audiences due to the fact that it is set in WW2 era in Japan.
The Wind Rises is based off the story of a the japanese engineer, Jiro Horikoshi, who developed the “Zero ” fighter planes during the war.
Although the teaser does not say much about the movie is has the fantasy element that surrounds flying in other Studio Ghibli movies. The movie itself will not have any graphic war scenes because Miyazaki stated that.
“Forcibly incorporating such scenes would only result in a tatty documentary. Miserable war can be seen in the actual world.“
