Ok hold your space horses! This is all just speculation with blastr.com being the first to bring this to our attention! Now while we’re all eagerly awaiting the Firefly Reunion special with cast interviews and more but while there won’t be any new footage it will be a fond trip down memory lane with crew along for the ride.
Now it seems and maybe we’re just being overly optimistic that there could be a new Firefly project in the works.
The above quote comes from Nathan Fillion (Malcolm Reynolds.. Cap’n to you or I!) and it only gets more intriguing when you’ve got to see what Sean Maher was reported as saying after the Comic Con Panel:
“I know somebody who is actually trying to get that done, who has approached Joss about it…He used to work with Guillermo del Toro.”
So is there a future for Firefly in the animated world? Only time will tell if this is just rumours and speculation! If it was real though would you watch it?
