Deathly Hallows Part II
It is the final movie in the Harry Potter series and though it is rumoured to be the shortest it doesn’t plan on being any less epic than the others! Harry, Ron and Hermione still struggle to find the remaining Horcruxes but Voldemort and his army are ever growing in strength and number! A full scale war is brewing and it will be a battle faught that was etched into destiny all those years ago when Voldemort struck down James and Lily Potter.
The cast return for the last time to the world of Hogwarts and magic and we’ll get to see the conclusion of this sage, July 15th!
X-Men: First Class
Back where it all began, Charlies Xavier and Eric Lensherr, two young idealists and friends strive to make the world a safer place for both human and mutant. Powerful beings gifted and cursed with abilities beyond those of the average human being, with the world once more on the brink of a third world war, the Cuban Missile Crisis has the people of the Free World on edge and now a new force will come to power and set in motion the events that will seal the fate of Xavier and Lensherr.
We’re still a little apprehensive about this one, with many of our favourite characters being Americanized (seriously?! why do they even do that?!) and rumours that First Class is a actually the first of another triloy… we’re not sure what to think just yet!
Captain America: The First Avenger
Flat out… not even remotely excited for this one! Never big fans of the Cap, there is just something that doesn’t sit right with us about this movie! Don’t get me wrong it’s got nothing to do with the stupid mistake of casting The Human Torch, Chris Evans to play the role of Steve Rogers! Maybe we’re wrong and just being a little over-zealous but what if this turns out to be another Daredevil?! We don’t think we could handle that kind of fail again!
Super 8
ET meets the Goonies as Spielberg continues his quest to comeback and regain his title as the Cinema King! This isn’t the real treat for Spielberg fans as we’ve found another little beauty penned to be one of the smash hits of 2011 and it’s coming to a little screen near you in Autumn!
Terra Nova
2149 and mankind has all but wiped himself out, war, pollution and disease have turned the planet into a toxic wasteland and now our only hope is to travel backwards into our past and start life anew! The Shannon Family are just one family who take the leap through time and find themselves in the land that was ruled by the dinosaur. Many critics are mashing the series into a culmination of Jurassic Park meets Avatar meets Lost… all of which can’t be a bad thing! Unless they run into polar bears and crazy french women… then we might have a problem!
