Win A Gold Xbox 360 From Castle Crashers

In celebration of Castle Crashers reaching over 2 million players on XBLA Behemoth will soon be hosting their first ever ‘Tournament of Champions’. The prizes? The lucky player to nab first place will find themselves the owner of a 24-Carat Gold Plated Xbox360 console. Needless to say there will be other prizes; second place will be awarded with a Castle Crashers themed Xbox 360 console, while third will receive 250 squishy chickens. Even if you don’t find yourself in the top three all players in the tournament will receive a prize, and the top 25 will even receive a special bonus.

‘To be eligible for the tournament you have to be in the top 100 Weekly Ranked Arena players on the Castle Crashers leaderboards at noon (PST) on January 28th. You will have all that week to battle amongst yourselves to claim those spots.  The top 100 will compete in 1 on 1 Arena matches, in a single elimination tournament format on Saturday February 5th, until we have a victor! You have 2 weeks to hone your skills before the tournament begins!’

If you think you might have what it takes to win why not visit the link below for more details:

The Portable Razer

Could this be the future of PC gaming? It certainly looks appealing, if nothing else. This pretty little machine is the Razer Switchblade, currently an ‘innovative concept design’ for a portable laptop computer featuring an ultra-sensitive multi-touch screen and a customizable dynamic tactile keyboard.  If all goes well we may all be purchasing these in the future and using them as we do our handheld consoles. Who wouldn’t want to play World of Warcraft on the go?

New fastest selling PC game of all time.

It seems Blizzard has really outdone themselves this time. The expansion that changed Azeroth as we knew and consumed the lives of many players over the last month has sold more than 4.7 million copies worldwide since its December 7th release, World of Warcraft Cataclysm is now officially the fastest-selling PC game of all time. 3.3 million of these sales occurred on the day of its release.

Avatar Kinect

Have you been wondering about this ‘Avatar Kinect’ we’ve all been hearing rumours about as of late? So were we until CES 2011 shone light on this new feature.

Avatar Kinect will allow our avatars to hang out in virtual rooms over Xbox Live. The sensor will not only map body movements but more intricate details such as facial expressions, mouth movements and even eyebrow raising. And as an added bonus you will be able to record videos of these sessions to upload to Facebook should you ever want to. And who wouldn’t want to upload videos of their virtual selves, speaking with virtual versions of their friends in pretty little virtual sets?

Xbox 360 Toaster

Just when you thought you had seen it all someone decides to modify their xbox console to fit inside a toaster. This unique console can still play all games perfectly while managing to fool people into believing it to be a simple kitchen appliance, though on closer inspection one might note that this toaster is connected to a television. The downside? No, it cannot make toast. Looks like we’ll have to wait a while longer for a machine to be able to both entertain and feed us in the comfort of our rooms.
