Thank J.E.N.O.V.A. it’s Friday! On this weeks Jukebox we bring you some of the best tracks that are guaranteed to get you out of your slump and into a great mood! Get ready for that Friday feeling, are you excited yet?

Blues Brothers – Everybody Needs Somebody

Did you know that the Blues Brothers were formed by Joe Belushi and Dan Aykroyd for a musical sketch as part of Saturday Night Live which aired on  the 22nd of April 1978! Two years later a movie starring Belushi and Aykroyd was released as their characters Jake and Elwood Blues,  with Jake just out of prison the brothers set about raising money to save the Catholic home where they grew up from being levelled.
The movie had guest performances from Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and James Brown. A remake was rehashed in 1998 and for lack of a better word it was a complete FLOP.

Black Eyed Peas – I got a feeling

The Black Eyed Peas first formed way back in 1992 and were a trio known as Atban Klann and their first album was never released because the record producer and company thought it was too positive!  Kim Hill joined the band in 1995 and was a background singer until 2000 when she left over creative differences. Fergie joined the band in 2001 and Elephunk, the band’s third studio album catapulted them into international acclaim.

Natasha Bedingfield – Pocket full of sunshine

Natasha Bedingfield is the younger sister of singer Daniel Bedingfield. Natasha began her musical career as gospel and church singer recording albums for the Hillsong London Church. Her first album, Unwritten was released in 2004 and her second album which this song is taken from and aptly named after was released in 2007.
