We were/are by no means huge Twilight fans, in fact we would go so far as to say they were some of the worst films made in the last five years and don’t even get us started on the books. Yes vampires are emotional creatures but they are not chock full of teenage hormones or love, they are brooding miserable pr*cks who only satisfy their immortality by playing with their food!
The vampire genre had the life sucked out of it in the last few years by carefree sparkly Tweens but no more we are sick and tired of the good name of Vampire being besmirched. We heard about ‘The Bleeding’ and desperate to escape the cuddly world of Twilight we stuck it on hoping it would be different but this is just as bad on a whole different spectrum.
Every couple of hundred years a dark lord will rise up and bring an army like no other under his banner and together they will wage a war on humanity. Cain, the Vampire King (Vinnie Jones… please just bear with us this actually gets worse) is that dark lord and now only the man who can stop him is already out to avenge the death of his family. With a priest and a few friends by his side, Shawn Black (Michael Matthias…*rolls eyes*) must stand up to the force of diabolical vampires, in a bloody and explosive battle.
