Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
‘These are dark times, there is no denying…’
The darkest books in the Harry Potter series are about to make their movie debut and with the first of the two part finale released in under two months, we are very very excited by this latest trailer. The trailer depicts the desperate situation Harry, Ron and Hermione find themselves in as Voldemort’s power rises and his control over the wizarding world increases. Friendships are pushed to the point of breaking and it appears that with the death of Dumbledore and the betrayal by Snape all hope is lost. Unless Harry can find the strength and courage to rise up against the Dark Lord.
All of the cast from the first movies are back and the effects have only gotten better with time. As huge Potter fans we are literally counting down the days for the first part to be released but until then we’ll just have to watch this trailer over and over again.
Legend of the Guardians
When you think of Harry Potter you would be foolish to forget about Owls and so our second trailer is for the new movie Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole. It is the story of Soren, a young owl who is consumed with the legends of the Guardians, a powerful alliance of brave Owls who have sworn to protect the kingdom. After being taken captive by ‘the Pure Ones’ and their leader Metalbeak, Soren and his brother Kludd learn of a plot devised by the leader to destroy the Guardians. Soren must escape and find the Guardians if he is to stop ‘the Pure Ones’ but when his own brother sides with Metalbeak, Soren’s journey becomes that much more difficult.
The movie features voice talents from Hugo Weaving, Helen Mirren and Geoffrey Rush. The film looks like it is jam packed with heartfelt moments and is visually a feast for the eyes.
