There was a live stream earlier today and we got our first details of the upcoming Bond 25. The announcement came from creator Ian Fleming’s own Jamaican home of GoldenEye. Producers Barbara Broccoli, Micheal Wilson & director Cary Fukunaga (True Detective), gave us some insight to some shooting locations, which include Jamaica, Norway and Italy.
We find out Bond is not on active duty and is living a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Along with the returning cast of Daniel Craig as Bond, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, and Jeffrey Wright – Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek will be rounding out the cast. Malek even made a little video, which may elude to him in an antagonists role.
