Dwayne Johnson once gave the following advice, “Be humble. Be hungry. And always be the hardest worker in the room”. He’s applying that to his career, because projects continue to pile up for him.
Variety reports that his production company, Seven Bucks Productions, has bought the film rights of graphic novel Son of Shaolin. Jay Longino, the writer of the comic book, will write the film. The graphic novel isn’t out yet, but presumably it will be a modern kung-fu story with shaolin mythology elements.
However at this stage, Johnson will act in a producer capacity for the film. Although I’m sure he’ll have some onscreen involvement.
