New Wolverine Cast Member Revealed
The third solo Wolverine film starring Hugh Jackman has a new cast member.
Eriq La Salle, best known as portraying Dr. Peter Benton in over 170 episodes of the medical drama ER, has been cast in an undisclosed role according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While little is known about the film, including its title, rumour has it that it will be based on Mark Millar‘s Old Man Logan story arc. It will possibly feature an aged Wolverine living in a world where all the supervillains have succeeded in defeating their enemies once and for all. We also know that this will be Jackman‘s final performance as the iconic character.
Gavin Hood, the man behind Wolverine: Origins, returns as director and the film will be released on March 3 2017.

Wait what? I know the articles about Eriq La Salle but I had know idea that the director of one of the worst superhero movies ever made was returning to direct Hugh Jackman’s last time as Wolverine. If they mess this up, it’ll gain even more backlash than Origins because Wolverine/Jackman will never have another chance to redeem itself.
