Kaizoku-Con Expects To Draw Record Crowd


Kaizoku-Con, the largest anime and science-fiction convention in the south of Ireland expects to draw its biggest crowd to date this March 4th – 6th.

The event which is in its third year has already earned a strong name for itself in the Irish geek calendar and this year promises to build on that. Drawing crowds from all over Ireland, the convention is organised by the UCC Science-Fiction Society.

Kaizoku-ConThis year attendees have the chance to meet and greet with guests including Cherami Leigh (Asuna from Sword Art Online, Lucy from Fairy Tail, Gaige in Borderlands 2).

Also in attendance are Matthew Mercer (the voice of Levi in Attack on Titan) and Marisha Ray (Margaret from the Persona series).

As well as their guests, Kaizoku-Con boasts a timetable opening on the Friday and running right through until Sunday. Timetable includes a heap of events from panels to workshops not to mention the Trade Hall, Artist Alley, Games Room and Board Games area.

Pre-Reg for the event is closed but rest assured there are plenty of tickets available on the weekend itself.
