No you did not misread that, yes Toyota have created mascots in order to promote their Prius car. It is no secret that Japan and Asia have big love for mascots having them for nearly everything from Taipei’s Government to even recruiting people to the Japanese Self-Defence Forces. So is it any surprise that Toyota chose to use adorable female mascots in their newest advertising campaign for the Toyota Prius.
Not just a few to advertise the single car or range but they have created 40 individual mascots for every part of the car. You will not see all 40 here but drive on over to the Toyota official website and check them all out.
There is now a gallery and voices while also having two very mysterious sections with coming soon over them, a game and real voice song.
What are they up to over there? All I know is I suddenly need a Prius in my life.
