Stephen Amell took to Facebook yesterday to reveal a teaser for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and fans didn’t even have to wait a day for the full trailer to release online as it was later during the night!
The sequel is titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out Of The Shadows and has Arrow star Stephen Amell and WWE superstar Sheamus join the cast as Casey Jones and Rocksteady, one half of Bebop and Rocksteady, the animal villains the Turtles face in the trailer. Brian Tee plays Shredder this time around while Tyler Perry has taken over the role of Baxter Stockman from K. Todd Freeman.
Also new is the director, Dave Green, best known for Earth To Echo in 2014. Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles 2: Out Of The Shadows is scheduled for cinemas June 3, 2016.

Honestly, this trailer looks pretty promising. Of course I still have gripes with it of course. The Turtles are still hard to look at and I have to deal with Megan Fox as April O’Neil when in my opinion Scarlett Johanssen should have been cast but never the less it seems as though Paramount have (or at least tried) to fix the mistakes of the first movie. The designs of Bebop and Rocksteady are pretty good and I like the reveal of Steven Amell as Casey Jones (little disappointed he doesn’t have long hair though). Tyler Perry is a tad bit too cartoonish as Baxter but it doesn’t look like this movie is gonna take itself too seriously.
