Tom Hardy To Produce 100 Bullets
In an exclusive release by The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that Tom Hardy, star of Mad Max: Fury Road, will be taking on the role of producer in New Line Cinema’s production of 100 Bullets. The report also stated that he has an interest in starring in the production.
100 Bullets is a multi Eisner Award winning comic and was created by Brian Azzarello (The Joker) with art by Eduardo Risso. It was released under DC’s Vertigo imprint, for which New Line currently have a number of movie rights. Currently, 100 Bullets is the project with the most forward movement of all those included in the New Line/Vertigo deal, already having a script by Chris Borrelli where most other titles have little more than a few names attached to them.
We’re big fans of Azzarello and Hardy here so we can’t wait to see what comes of this, along with other projects from Vertigo/New Line such as Neil Gaiman‘s Sandman.
